2005 in Review – Konquest Online

This year was a first for Konquest Online. I launched the site back in June of this year, using b2evolution platform. In August, I changed for Wordpress, after I wanted more themes and customization and I’ve sticked with this ever since. I don’t think I’ll make a that radical change again (although I will move to Wordpress 2.0 at the beginning of next year).

At this point, readership picked up and it was most encouraging to write and look at the scientific actuality.

The 5 most read posts were:

  1. Roman Villa Discovered Via Google Earth (made the front page at Digg.com!)
  2. DigitalGlobe Launching Two New Satellites (front page at Digg also!)
  3. GoogleOS?
  4. Kansas School Board Approves Intelligent Design
  5. MSN Virtual Earth Launched

I hope that Konquest Online grows more and more over the coming year, as it’s a pleasure for me to maintain the site!
